How your information is handled
This policy sets out the information we collect through rodentremovalsacramento.com and the phone number published on it, what happens to that information, and the choices open to you. The information we collect
Two routes bring us your details. Filling in a form on any page sends us the name, phone number, email address, selected service and description you typed, together with the page the form sat on. Calling the published number reaches a tracked line, which records the calling number, the date, the duration and a recording or transcript of the conversation; a recorded-line notice is given at the start of the call.
Visiting the site also generates ordinary technical information through Google Analytics 4: an approximate location derived from the IP address, the browser and device type, the pages opened, the referring site and the time of the visit. That material arrives in aggregate and is not used to build a profile of an individual.
What it is used for
Contact details and the description of the problem are used to arrange a free inspection and to pass the job to a contractor who covers the address, and to reach you again if the first attempt fails. Call recordings are used to confirm what was agreed and to check the quality of dispatch. Analytics data is used to see which pages are useful and which are ignored. None of it is sold, and none of it is used for advertising unrelated to rodent work at your property.
Who it is shared with
The contractor assigned to your job receives your name, phone number, email address, property address and the description of the problem, because the inspection cannot happen without them. Service providers that run parts of this operation also process the data on our behalf: Cloudflare hosts the site and its form handler, CallRail supplies the tracked phone line and recordings, Google supplies the analytics, and the email provider that carries form submissions to our inbox. Information is disclosed to anybody else only where the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to distinguish one visit from another and to count returning visitors. No page here serves advertising cookies or retargeting pixels. Browser settings can block or clear cookies, and a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on is available; either will leave the pages working normally.
How long it is kept
Request records and call recordings are kept for two years from the last contact, which covers warranty questions and disputes about what was agreed. Analytics data expires on Google retention settings, currently 14 months. Anything held beyond those periods is held because tax or legal rules require it.
Your choices and your rights
California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended: to know what personal information is held, to have it deleted, to correct it, and to opt out of any sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for that kind of advertising. To exercise any of these rights, or to ask for a copy or a deletion, call (916) 644-8455 and the request will be handled within the statutory timescale. Asking for deletion while a job is in progress may leave the contractor unable to complete it.
Security and children
Form submissions travel over HTTPS and are held in access-controlled systems. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, and the honest position is that reasonable safeguards are applied rather than absolute ones. These pages are not aimed at children under 13 and no information is knowingly collected from them.
